Georgia. At the same Games, she came fourth in the 100m final and sixth in the 200m final.

Silver medallist behind Marion Jones at the World Cup in Johannesburg
She received a Silver Jubilee Award from His Excellency Sir Orville Turnquest
(Governor-General) for her contribution in sports.
1999 – She was a member of the 4 x 100m team at the seventh IAAF Track and Field Championships in Spain that won in a national record time of 41.92 seconds. She won gold at the Pan Am Games in Winnipeg, Canada.
2000 – At the Olympic Games in Sydney, Chandra and the other members of the 4 x 100m team won the gold medal
Chandra set a national record with the time of 10.86 seconds in the 100m at the National
Championships. This time was second only to Marion Jones.
2001- She was the first Bahamian to win an individual gold medal in the 60m at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Lisbon.
2003 – Chandra won the 100m bronze medal at the World Championships.
Chandra has been the number-one ranked female sprinter in the world, but due to inactivity in 2004 she has dropped to No. 3.
