  1996 – She was on the 4 x 100m relay team that won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. At the same Games, she came fourth in the 100m final and sixth in the 200m final.

  1997 – Silver medallist at the World Indoor Championships in Paris

  1998 – Commonwealth Games 100m champion
  Silver medallist behind Marion Jones at the World Cup in Johannesburg
  She received a Silver Jubilee Award from His Excellency Sir Orville Turnquest (Governor-General) for her contribution       in sports.

  1999 – She was a member of the 4 x 100m team at the seventh IAAF Track and Field Championships in Spain that won in a national record time of 41.92 seconds. She won gold at the Pan Am Games in Winnipeg, Canada.

  2000 – At the Olympic Games in Sydney, Chandra and the other members of the 4 x 100m team won the gold medal
  Chandra set a national record with the time of 10.86 seconds in the 100m at the National Championships. This time was second only to Marion Jones.

  2001- She was the first Bahamian to win an individual gold medal in the 60m at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Lisbon.

  2003 – Chandra won the 100m bronze medal at the World Championships.

Chandra has been the number-one ranked female sprinter in the world, but due to inactivity in 2004 she has dropped to No. 3.
